About Me

I’m a certified obesity physician with degrees in both medicine and nutrition, including the internationally recognised SCOPE certification. Since graduating from Barts Medical School in 1995, I’ve focused on lifestyle and obesity medicine, completing a postgraduate degree in nutrition and registering as an Associate Nutritionist (ANutr).

I now specialise in obesity care across both NHS and private settings, having trained with global leaders through the World Obesity Federation and at the Cleveland Clinic. I’m also a published author, conference speaker, and media contributor, and I regularly train healthcare professionals in weight management. Following a plant-based diet myself, I understand the real-life challenges of weight loss—many of the tools I share were first developed through my own journey.
